About me
Kirsten Howard (Demeter) is well versed in understanding the plethora of emotions that accompany loss. Demeter’s 20 year old daughter was killed in 2015 by a young man who was texting while driving. Demeter ‘s commitment to helping the bereaved navigate loss has opened many public speaking opportunities within her community, including sharing a segment on KOMO 4 news. She currently partners with two nonprofit organizations providing grief share support classes. When finances provide, she will seek a second Masters degree in grief and bereavement counseling. She and her son Lakota, currently manage The Morgan Cope Legacy Scholarship.
