About me
I've been volunteering with conventions of all sorts for 40 years since getting recruited from the SCA ( Society for the Creative Anachronism-a medievil recreation group)
My passion is to help conventions run as smoothly as possible and to assist the fans/members having a great time.
I'm part of a team known as FLARE, which provides crowd management and general security/ first aid and assistance to the fans to get them to the panels or events they're looking for in large site.
I've had the honor to chair conventions and experience all the hard work that goes into running these.
So the types of conventions I've worked are ; Dr Who, Star Trek, Game Deveolpers, Battery Storage, Fantasy Literature/Comic.
I have also worked with several Haunted Houses doing various jobs.
In 2000 I worked my first FurrCon and have enjoyed working with this very creative community's ever since!
