As someone who has lived with mental health issues most of my life, I wanted to provide a safe meetup space to talk openly about mental health in a way that allows people to share their own experiences, and coping mechanisms they've developed related to mental health in hopes that sharing knowledge with each other will help people feel less alone in their experiences.
Be interested to come out of your comfort zone and discuss mental health topics in a non-judgmental environment. Or if you just want to come and vibe and listen, that's okay too.
NOTE: I am not a therapist. I have just has past positive experiences talking about mental health in a non-therapeutic group setting and wanted to bring that opportunity to a con.
